DESI Monitor - Another day in our office with DESI Monitor and DESI Mini Jet

Another day in our office with DESI Monitor and DESI Mini Jet - this will be a longer entry, but it's worth it.

Our recordings start at 9:10 a.m. The circumstances have not changed. We are 4 employees on 32 m². Yesterday we only showed you the course of the air quality. The air humidity was very low and has therefore dried out our mucous membranes and made them vulnerable to colds and viruses. Today we want to change that!

Today we measure our indoor air quality as usual, but we are adding the DESI PLASMA FLUIDER and the DESI MINI JET to our measures. What is this supposed to bring us? On the one hand, in the DESI PLASMA FLUIDER we produce an H2O2 fluid from normal water. The fluid has a concentration of 70 ppm. This is gentle on humans, animals and surfaces, but cracks the shell of viruses and disinfects against bacteria.

As a positive side effect with H2O2, we use the natural decomposition of H2O2 into its components of water and oxygen. Remember - yesterday we ventilated during the day to maintain indoor air quality. I filled the DESI PLASMA FLUIDER with water and switched it on. The device generates a blue light and starts to work. The electrolysis process to create the H2O2 begins. You can see this very nicely by the tiny, rising bubbles. Here in the picture it almost looks like fog. Our H2O2 fluid is ready after 40 minutes.

Before I fill up our DESI MINI JET and use it, I check our monitor again. As you can see, our values are slowly rising again.

The tank of the DESI MINI JET is filled with water from above through the upper tank opening. The valve always fills the lower part of the MINI JET so that it draws the perfect fill quantity for operation. Put the lid on and in position. The humidity can now be set here. I decided to set the humidity to 50%. In this way I create a good indoor climate for our mucous membranes. As soon as the humidity level drops, the DESI MINI JET starts running again. But what happens to the air quality? Do I have to continue ventilating? Let's watch this together.

The DESI MINI JET has done its job and brought our humidity to a good level. Our mucous membranes are grateful. Our CO2 value is only slightly increased and the TVOC value has improved. Let's see how it evolves. It is clear that the DESI MINI JET always starts to work when the humidity deteriorates.

Three minutes later, the CO2 value has improved. The H2O2 fluid breaks down and releases oxygen. The humidity is in the good range. All other values are also correct.

If the humidity drops below 50%, the DESI MINI JET starts to work - completely reliably. Feel good!

At 50% humidity it switches itself off again - Great!

Our values all stay in a good range without venting.

I switched off the DESI MINI JET to see what happened to our humidity. Our CO2 value had decreased as a result of the nebulization. Within half an hour our humidity was again quite low due to the heating. Yesterday we ventilated for the first time at this time.

So, I ran our DESI MINI JET again. The values are still in the good range and our humidity is also fantastic.

Our values are still in the acceptable range. We're running two additional PCs right now because we need to set up something. Therefore the pollution of the indoor air is higher.

And now the time has come - we ventilate and let it really go through. Yesterday it was due at 12:30 p.m. Today, despite additional electrical devices, not until 2:52 p.m., thanks to our nebulization with the DESI Mini Jet.

Ventilated almost 7 minutes - 2 windows, a door and our values are very good again.

Because of the ventilation and the dry winter air, our humidity value has dropped significantly. The DESI MINI JET now has to do its job to raise the humidity again.

Conclusion: Today we only aired once in the afternoon instead of at noon! The oxygen content in the decomposed H2O2 fluid is sufficient to maintain a pleasant indoor air quality. Our mucous membranes are doing much better because of the good humidity.

I am thrilled and so are my colleagues!

Just a note: during the nebulization process, the readings on the monitor go really crazy. But that's because the monitor's sensors are incredibly fine. The nebulized fluid is so fine that the monitor perceives it as smoke. But as soon as the nebulization stops, the values normalize again.

You can also remedy this by not setting up the two devices directly next to each other.
